Kids and Youth
At FPCH, we believe young people aren't just the future of the Church—they're a vital part of its present.Our children’s and youth ministries are designed to nurture faith, foster friendships, and inspire service in God’s kingdom today. Through engaging programs, creative activities, and meaningful relationships, we empower kids and teens to discover their gifts and make a difference in their families, schools, and communities. Whether it’s through Sunday school, youth group, or special events, our mission is to walk alongside them as they grow in their faith and take their place in God’s story right now.
Nursery
Every Sunday During Worship
Our nursery offers a warm, flexible space where young children can play, learn, and experience God’s love. Each month features a new Bible-based theme, with age-appropriate stories, activities, games, and music. The nursery is open every Sunday following Children’s Time, approximately 10 minutes after the service begins, and welcomes children ages five and younger.
This September, our youngest learners will meet some of the Bible’s brave leaders and faithful helpers. Through playful activities, music, and simple storytelling, children will discover how God cared for David, gave courage to Queen Esther, granted wisdom to King Solomon, and spoke to Elijah in the quiet.
Youth Fellowship
Every Wednesday from 5:30-7 pm
Looking for a place to relax, have fun, and connect with friends? Our weekly youth group offers students in grades 6–12 a welcoming place to be themselves, build friendships, and explore their faith together. Join us every Wednesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. for Bible study, thoughtful conversation, games and activities, plenty of laughter, and, of course, pizza.
Everyone is welcome, whether you have been part of the church for years or are joining us for the first time. Bring a friend, come as you are, and get ready for a great evening together!
Kids’ Sunday School
Every Sunday from 10-11 am
Designed for children in kindergarten through fourth grade, Holy Moly brings the Bible to life through colorful animated videos, lively conversations, age-appropriate Bible exploration, and creative hands-on activities.
Every Holy Moly lesson invites children to discover, relate, connect, and create. They begin by meeting the characters and watching the story unfold, then share their own observations, questions, and ideas. After connecting the animated story with the Bible, children use crafts, games, and imaginative activities to explore it in a new way. This playful approach gives children the freedom to be curious, express themselves, and grow in their understanding of God’s story while having plenty of fun along the way!
Youth Sunday School
Every Sunday from 10-11 am
Created especially for youth, Echo the Story invites students on a creative journey through the Bible’s big story, from creation to the beginning of the church. Rather than simply receiving information about Scripture, students experience its stories through imaginative listening, thoughtful observation, storytelling, art, writing, journaling, and open conversation.
As students encounter each story, they have opportunities to notice what stands out, ask honest questions, share their own interpretations, and listen to the perspectives of others. Over time, they begin to recognize how the people, promises, struggles, and hopes found throughout Scripture connect with one another. Through reflection and conversation with their peers, youth can discover fresh insights, explore how God’s story connects with their own lives, grow spiritually, and build a stronger sense of community.
Resurrection Youth Conference
January 22-24, 2027
Resurrection is an annual weekend retreat that brings thousands of youth and youth mentors together in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, for worship, spiritual growth, and Christian community. Throughout the weekend, participants gather for powerful worship experiences featuring inspirational messages and music led by nationally known speakers and musicians.
More than simply a weekend away, Resurrection gives young people space to step outside their usual routines, reflect on their faith, ask meaningful questions, and encounter Jesus in new and deeper ways. Youth worship alongside their peers, strengthen friendships within their group, and discover that they are part of a much larger community of faith. The weekend is filled with energy, encouragement, prayer, and opportunities to grow, all centered on Jesus Christ, the Resurrection and the Life.
